@verretor in their defense, if you're gonna get arrested for being outside, better to know...
Fascist, unscientific, bullshit though.
@kekcoin @vladcostea @nvk From the looks of it going to public feeds on other instances works reasonably well.
Also, client seems to be able to pick up stuff from elsewhere to a limited degree. Not sure how it all works exactly on the backend.
@drgo 1-800-DRONE-STRIKE
@drgo now just replace "pizza" with "missile"
@vladcostea @kekcoin @nvk gotta get your own man! Pretty point n click with their premade digital ocean vm.
I've just published "At 41k, Bitcoin is still massively undervalued against gold and silver". If we look at market caps, there's still a lot of upside on the horizon.
Does 10% of gold's market cap sound unreasonable? Because now we're at 6.4%.

@kekcoin @vladcostea of course, will that continue to work out if Mastodon gets flooded by bots? Remains to be seen.
@SatsLife Twitter used to have a star for likes instead of the current heart. It's a much better symbol for something that is kinda ambiguous.
@SatsLife @vladcostea If you have Android, try Tusky. Working fine for me, even with 100% usage of federation.
@vladcostea @SatsLife if I makes you feel any better, my mastodon instance was installed with a point-n-click script on Digital Ocean.
Though it is running from their Toronto data center. π¨π¦π₯π
@vladcostea @SatsLife hey, whatever works! Still better than Twitter.
@XBT you are now ice cold. π§
@SatsLife @vladcostea Tusky as the client. Stock Mastodon to host the instance.
@goodc0re Scary thing to do: calculate energy returned on energy invested in solar. Then realize how difficult it is to actually capture all the inputs into semiconductor manufacturing. Then realize that most solar is being made in a country that still relies on coal for almost all its power...
@vladcostea That's a good point too.
Speaking of, I think we'll need to get some arguments going to actually get Mastodon off the ground. It's a bit of a dark pattern, but endless debate is what gets a lot of people hooked on Twitter. Also, watching others endlessly debate.
I am noticing Mastodon is decent at getting other communities visibility. At least with the client I'm using.
@keith @karozagorus @MultiBitcoiner @nvk Good question: when you nuke your Mastodon database, does it cause _others_ to stop following you? (Assuming a public account)
".@peterktodd never followed me on Twitter, but now that I'm on Bitcoin Mastodon I guess that I've become cooler." @vladcostea π
Though seriously, it's interesting how the lack of AI will change following patterns. On Twitter lots of people will end up in your feed due to The Algorithm, reducing incentives to actually follow.
