@verretor @amerika @su why didn't I notice that pun?! Oh, probably because it's a surprisingly tragic episode.

@verretor @amerika @su what went wrong there is "egg" isn't spelled with an "x"

... though 🥚 kinda is, because hexadecimal.

@kekcoin @giacomozucco serious answer: it'd realistically have to be a hard fork.

@giacomozucco besides, we can always just add inflation. /ducks

@kalle alright, so a 100GB blu-ray in theory would last multiple months.

The hardware can do it; you have a software challenge. 😂

@verretor @amerika @su 'healthy' ←single quotes because steroids are probably still better than obesity. 😂

@kalle 0-5GB between full backups? If you can figure out how to work with sessions, blu ray will fix that problem.

I personally use blu-ray for backups myself. Though I mostly don't do incremental backups: my critical data is small enough that I use backup all my critical qubes vms to bluray about once a week.

For bigger data I use a combination of backups to external hd, and git-annex.

@amerika @verretor @su ...or the "healthy" young people supposedly dying from it who all too often turn out to be morbidly obese.
