_Very_ strongly worded, official US government document. Makes crystal clear that they believe:

1) Researchers got sick with COVID symptoms, in autumn 2019
2) Chinese bio labs have had leaks
3) China is stonewalling investigation
4) They were doing gain-of-function research on the closest known relative to covid
5) The Chinese military may be involved (!!!)

People got banned on social media for saying this...

@BradReed Interesting. I noticed in testing that my main signal account could send messages reliably while a test account I don't use much could not. Possibly they were prioritising regular users.

@melik Yup... Sorry govts, but lockdown has almost never worked.

@121 That might very well be the problem: looks like they successfully crushed the curve to ~zero with aggressive lockdown early on, and now they're paying the price of having low levels of herd immunity.
