@pete have you looked at python-bitcointx for comparison? I’m not familiar enough with either library to compare them, honestly. I used python-bitcoinlib wayyyyy back in ~2013 for some simple things, but I was looking at trying python-bitcointx since that’s what @waxwing picked for joinmarket.
