I left the park but I forgot my rings. When I came back, someone was training on them.

@pete There’s actually a gymnast that is known as “Lord of the Rings”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBmy9JWyCS4

You’ll notice that he’s quite short. Ring specialists are never tall. I’m 5’9”, almost 5’10”. Too tall to be a ring specialist.

@verretor ha, that name totally doesn't surprise me.

Gymnasts are amazing. I nearly took gymnastics as a kid. But I was too shy back then. I really should have.

@pete My mother didn’t care when I told her I wanted to do gymnastics as a child. I did acrogym later and I actually gave classes but that’s more like circus stuff.

@verretor Hell, had I said I wanted to do synchronized swimming they wouldn't have cared.

Besides, when you're a teenage boy, ballet and gymnastics classes have the advantage of being full of really hot girls. I dated a ballet dancer in highschool and she said most of the guys in her classes were straight... and not single. 😂

@pete I took a dance course in CÉGEP. First day, I walked into the room, there were only girls and they were giving me a look like: “What the fuck?”

I said: “Boo!” and they all laughed lol.

@verretor Weird. I really don't get the sense that anyone would really care here. Though, I haven't exactly taken any dance classes. 😂

@verretor Of course, I did take almost entirely girl dominated pottery classes as a kid, and it being unusual for a boy to do didn't bother me one bit. Heck, I met a nice girl in one. 😂
