@nvk in practice how many companies will take the extra compliance effort for the tiny Canadian market?
Many will just start blocking Canadian IPs.
I also wonder how will they enforce it if the foreign companies don’t collaborate?
Will they criminalize people accessing foreign websites?
Only thing it’s guaranteed to achieve is driving a lot of business away.
