I'm doing something similar with digital and physical books since last year

In addition to the books they’d want to ban, I’m thinking we should all buy old dictionaries & encyclopedias from used book shops. Definitions & history changing won’t surprise me at all at this point. Any examples you’ve noticed already?

@mir_btc Tricky with digital books as most of them can be "updated" remotely.

@mir_btc Maybe! Easy to both accidentally connect them online, and also, some ebook readers have cell phone data links in them.

@mir_btc BTW, this is the best tool I've found for managing data collections: git-annex.branchable.com/

Basically it's a git addon for big files, letting you pick and choose what files you want, and keeping track of where you can get those files.
