@pete @drgo And I sometimes feel complainy that I only have 1GBit to my room instead of the 10G I'm used to when working on some of my servers 🤣

(and then I visit my parents and suffer the 50MBit life which is still reality for so many german households 😱 )

If I ever build a house there will be monomode fiber to every room using whatever transceiver technology is cheap enough (I guess by then 25G might be affordable). Fast networks are just awesome!
