@drgo @pete @max_1337 the official reason they state for the curfew measure is that (mostly) young people meeting outside in groups are accelerating the spread of the virus
but i'm not sure, it feels to me as a kind of riot control measure, a way to try to keep a lid on things besides the virus, things are really getting weird here

@orionwl @drgo @max_1337 There are a _lot_ of authoritarians out there just waiting for their chance at power.
Frankly that and simple publicity seeking probably explains the phenomenon of previously unknown public health officials suddenly spouting off extremist nonsense. With a plentiful supply of experts, the extremism both helps you stand out in the media landscape, and satisfies the need to control others.
