I'm really curious what type of photo Bitstamp thinks constitutes proof that a given Bitcoin address belongs to you...

@pete It's not about what Bitstamp thinks, it's about what some boomer bureaucrat in the Netherlands, who thinks Internet Explorer is "The Internet" and who types whole URLs into the Bing-search bar, thinks.

@nau @pete just print a qr code and write “it’s mine” on it and take a photo

@pete They likely want you to write it down and hold it next to your face. Similar to how a lot of sellers on localbitcoins are doing it for credit cards.

@pete I guess is just a legal declaration.. we say it in spanish.. "declaración jurada" so the goverment can say you dont spent your bitcoins you still have them so payme taxes...
