@Genericblog 3D printed guns. Can’t host it on Keybase anymore. 3D printed guns are first amendment AND second amendment rights. There is nothing more American, and Keybase now censors it, because they, too, are owned by the Chinese Communist Party.

@bryancyan @Genericblog it says a lot about Keybase that they even can ban that...

@pete @bryancyan @Genericblog Not only that, but even closed groups were getting the e-mail notice that they need to leave. With open groups like DD it's obvious what's going on because anyone can join and see. But somehow they saw what's happening in a few closed groups. Could be that someone in them snitched, but it's still concerning.

@alan8325 @pete @Genericblog Assuming the encryption isn’t compromised (can’t totally count that out) it was probably a Karen.

@pete @bryancyan @Genericblog how can they know it in private groups unless the encryption claims are bs?
And companies using those apps to share passwords and that kind of thing.
It’s not just about discussing “polemical topics. How can any business trust sending or storing any secrets in such an app.
It’s not just about privacy or freedom of speech— but ultimately about property rights.

@lucash_dev @bryancyan @Genericblog As others' mentioned, the most likely explanation is snitches.

@pete @bryancyan @Genericblog well, unless we can be sure it’s someone within the groups that snitched, we should assume the encryption is compromised.
