Good example of the limitations of "competition": Parler is saying no-one is willing to do business with them, with even their lawyers dropping them. I'm not surprised: the cancel culture mob would turn on anyone who was willing to do business with them.

There used to be a long tradition in law of representing clients fairly, no matter who they were. Frankly, that tradition is dying.

@pete Well allowing to share discussions about plans of murder should be enough. If you would see that as freedom of speech ok. I don't. I don't get the whole fuzz about deplatforming right now.

We have a president (I'm not from the US) that openly supports violence. We got a platform (Parler) that openly allows spread of violence. I don't give a shit about these two being deplatformed.
And that's it. I like mastodon being promoted but we will end up on Twitter again.
