Good example of the limitations of "competition": Parler is saying no-one is willing to do business with them, with even their lawyers dropping them. I'm not surprised: the cancel culture mob would turn on anyone who was willing to do business with them.

There used to be a long tradition in law of representing clients fairly, no matter who they were. Frankly, that tradition is dying.

@pete That's because the "law" currently belongs to the "state". If the state wants you canceled, you're outside the law.

Like why do we need a state's laws and lawyers to decide who can speak and who can not in the first place? Free speech should be above the law.

In the US at least, I think that is what the First Amendment is about. Basically any law, any court, any lawyer, etc should be subordinated to this principle.

Mobs would be irrelevant if this would be the case, since all they can do is yell and bully. They can't shut you down.
