@belcher I'm confused, what is the scam exactly?
@kekcoin A day after Speedy Trail was merged into Core, luke and some others release an alt-client with the deceptive name "Bitcoin Core 0.21.0-based Taproot Client 0.1" telling people "download this to activate taproot". It's not Bitcoin Core, and it's not taproot. If run could fork users away in a chain split, users are not warned about this, in fact the website has an FAQ "Is this a UASF? No". This stuff is the same kind of sleaze move as "Segwit2X" or "Bitcoin Classic"
@belcher @kekcoin You really are on a public relations drive aren't you @belcher? Lol. Luke has been consistent for months about what he intended to do and he perceives he has community consensus to do so. There was a public meeting to discuss this release on the Tuesday before Speedy Trial was merged into Core.
@michaelfolkson @belcher @kekcoin There's a reason why I haven't publicly said anything about how taproot should be activated...
@pete @belcher @kekcoin :) Enjoyed your podcast with @stephanlivera on the Signal coin. I haven't read up on SGX, that seems technically interesting. Other than that seems a typical Telegram like cash out scheme. https://stephanlivera.com/episode/268/
@michaelfolkson @belcher @kekcoin Well, ok, two reasons: the other is lazyness. 😂
