@pox @verretor @pete Yeah, but it's not really worth it. Getting sick now and then is just a cost of doing business imo, it sucks for a week or two, but social distancing sucks way more. I went to Chaos Communication Congress every year (after xmas) knowing that I had a good chance of catching something (colloquially called "congress flu"). If it happens it happens, life goes on if you are otherwise healthy.

If someone else's risk profile differs they are free to stay away from other people.

@sebx2a @pox @verretor The justification was hospitals were going to be dramatically overloaded. After that turned out to not be true, they decided they didn't need a justification.

@pete @pox @verretor At least in Germany that's still the justification. I haven't checked the numbers, seems weird given our relatively high availability of ICUs according to wikipedia.

@sebx2a @pox @verretor I think claims of ICUs and hospitals being overloaded have become a labor action in disguise. They're always busy.
