|actually, the only vaccination certification that is approved internationally is the UN's yellow booklet:

This is required to e.g. go in countries with yellow fever. When the UN decides on another format we'll have one, but this is the only one that must be accepted :-)
@pete @lonelyllama you can probably buy unfilled forms on the internet, if not the original, then probably Chinese-made. After my vaccination I noticed my name was spelled wrong, went back to the lady with the syringe, she just immediately wrote and gave me a new one. No serial number, no barcodes, no watermark on it... Ridiculous....
@121 @lonelyllama Why is that ridiculous? The purpose of that form is to record your medical history for _your_ benefit. Eg, knowing when you should get your next shot. There is absolutely no reason why it needs any security at all.
I've got an Ontario Vaccination Record myself with a half dozen vaccinations on it. It too, is just a piece of paper. It's for my benefit, to help remember what I'm up to date on.

@pete @lonelyllama you are right, it won't be ridiculous during normal times, but the talk of limiting movement and activities based on having or not having the proof of vaccination (I know that's a bad idea) is moot, if those are easily forgeable
@pete @lonelyllama asking for a proof of vaccinations was/is quite common: if you want to enroll a child in a US school, if you are a foreigner applying to a US university. I dunno, I guess my European mindset wants a bunch of security features and stamps on a "document" 😀
