You learn to read carefully in Clown World. Hospitalized patients means those sick enough to get the virus and be exploited by it, as opposed to normal people who just get an aggressive flu. Of course they have symptoms six months later; they had symptoms six months before!

@amerika I pulled a muscle in my shoulder the other day and it hurts under my sternum, hard to breathe. One old lady freaked out and asked why I didn't get a covid test...

@su

Cause-and-effect is an alien concept to her. Good for you for keeping a poker face.

@verretor @su @amerika quite literally I read an article the other day claiming that unlike March, covid patients were coming in with all kinds of crazy symptoms...

Yeah, the positive test was a coincidence...

@pete @verretor @su

The CDC figures were the big one for me. 2.7 average comorbid conditions. Sure, they got COVID... because they were already dying.

@amerika @verretor @su ...or the "healthy" young people supposedly dying from it who all too often turn out to be morbidly obese.

@pete @verretor @su

Around here, it seems like mostly undiagnosed diabetics are dying. I know a lot of elderly who have gotten it and survived with few problems.

@verretor @amerika @su what went wrong there is "egg" isn't spelled with an "x"

... though 🥚 kinda is, because hexadecimal.

@verretor @amerika @su why didn't I notice that pun?! Oh, probably because it's a surprisingly tragic episode.

@pete @amerika @su There was one healthy 33 year old from Ukraine who took steroids and had cardiovascular problems.

@verretor @amerika @su 'healthy' ←single quotes because steroids are probably still better than obesity. 😂
