Awesome seeing a few hundred k sats routed through one of my lightning nodes .. and for less than 2 sats fee 😂
The best part is I have no way of knowing where it came from or went, or why.
I've always thought people tend to underestimate LN; it's not about whether it ticks every box, it's about gwern's "worse is better" - LN as a concept cleared a threshold that made people want to build it. Now it's built, it will get used, people are already finding ways to exploit its characteristics.(1/2)
@waxwing Well, owner of the node. I hadn't heard of ride-the-lightning! Should look into that. I run lnd myself.
@pete yeah it's definitely worth an install. i think there's at least one or two other projects giving the same thing (web ui 'control panel' for lnd and whatnot), sorry i forget their names.
also btcpayserver is good for this because everything is bundled in. but i guess a bit beefy for a local install.
@pete you mean visualize it for the user of the node?
i think a lot of stuff has that, like raspiblitz it's on the display, many UIs like ride-the-lightning.
but now i'm thinking i misunderstood your point..?
